What do I need to Bring in order to pawn my vehicle?

In order to pawn your vehicle, you will need to provide the following documents: 1. Original Blue Book (Registered in your name), clear of all financial charges. 2. Certified Omang copy. * If you are Married in Community of Property, you will need the consent of your Spouse. It is basically a form your husband or wife needs to sign as the asset you wish to pawn is considered mutual property. If you require the form in advance, you may download it from the following link: https://www.cash.co.bw/pedownloads. * In case the vehicle is registered under a company name, in addition to the above, you will need to provide the following: 1. Certified Company secretarial documents. 2. Company Board Resolution. 3. Tax Clearance Certificate – BURS. You must be over the age of 18 years. Your nationality does not matter, all nationals are welcomed. For Pawn & Drive, the minimum loan amount is P5,000. For Pawn & Park, the minimum loan amount is P15,000.

How much can I pawn my vehicle for?

We will aim to provide you with the amount you require or if you wish, the highest loan amount possible. In order to do so, we will evaluate your vehicle at our office and provide you with a free quotation for your consideration and approval.
Do you have an office outside Mogoditshane?

We are located in Tlokweng/Gaborone, Mogoditshane, Francistown and Palapye. Unfortunately, in order to receive the loan you will need to come to one of the above locations.
Do I need to visit your office in order to receive a loan or can I do it online?

You will need to visit our office in either Tlokweng/Gaborone, Mogoditshane, Francistown or Palapye in order for us to issue the loan. It is not possible to issue loans without physically attending our office.
How long are your loans for?

Depending on the loan type and loan product you choose, we have Short Term & Long Term Loans. We give our clients the option to choose the loan period that is most suitable for you.
How long does it take to pawn my vehicle?

The process is quick; We will inspect your vehicle, test drive it with you and if it passes the technical test, we will help you choose the most suitable loan product that aimed at saving you money and giving you enough time to repay the loan. We aim to expedite the process and finish it as soon as possible so we will not delay you. We estimate the process to take 60 minutes.
What are your working hours?

Our working hours are as follow: Monday - Friday: 08:30 to 16:30 Saturday: 08:30 to 13:30 Sunday: Closed However, you can always call us after hours!
How much do I need to pay every month?

The repayment amount and period are based on the loan product you choose. We propose you visit one of our offices when you can so we can take you through the different options.
Which loan options do you have?

We have two Pawn options for you to choose from: 1. Pawn & Park : Where we keep your vehicle at our premises until you are ready to repay. The interest starts at 5% Per Month. 2. Pawn & Drive : Where you Pawn your vehicle but keep driving it. You will just need to repay the loan at the maturity date. The interest starts at 5% Per Month.
How do I qualify for a loan?

If you are over the age of 18 years, then you can get a loan from Pawn Express. Your nationality does not matter, as long as you own a fully paid asset that you can use as security. It is a quick process. Without much ado, you will have the cash at your disposal.
Can you buy my vehicle?

We pawn items you wish to pawn and you will receive payment for them. Currently we do not purchase assets from clients.
Can I still pawn my vehicle if it is not moving or requires repair?

We do not pawn non-moving vehicles, vehicles which are not roadworthy, or vehicles that require necessary repairs. In order to pawn your vehicle you will need to repair it.

Do you pawn land?

As per the law, land cannot be pawned but follows a mortgage process, however we can refer you to our sister company specializing in Mortgage Lending, which is fast and efficient.
